Today I will give you some interesting facts about labour in Lithuania:
- Labour productivity in Lithuania is one of the lowest in EU (European Union).
- The executives in Lithuania earn more than their colleagues in other Baltic States. But the wages of workers in Lithuania are lower than in other Baltic States.
- Minimal wage lower than in Lithuania is only in Bulgaria and Romania in EU.
- Lithuanians have more days off than most of other nations. Some sources state that Lithuanians and Brazilians are leading in the world by the number of days off! Workers in Lithuania have 28 days’ holiday a year. Lithuanians get another 13 days off because of various festivals and occasions.
- Lithuanians are most afraid of loosing job in EU. 58% of Lithuanians said they are concerned they can loose job. The average of EU is 25%.
- Lithuanians are one the least loyal employees in the world. The loyalty index in Lithuania was 50 points in 2008. The average of Europe is 59 points, the average of the world is 60 points.

Independence Day, Independence Restoration Day,Christmas Eve, Christmas, Eastern, Feast of St John, the Assumption etc...
How about the impact of these holidays to your economy? Are investors not worried of these day offs anymore?
Of course it's not very good for our economy.A few years ago, before the economic crisis we had even more days off, because when the festival was on weekend,we got extra day off after weekend... When economy went down government decided that it's too much :)

Who pays for wedding? Who has money! :) Sometimes the groom and the bride. Sometimes their parents.
Because I know in some countries the Grooms side pays for most of the wedding & in other countries the Brides side of the family pays for it.
Another thing. Do wedding guests bring money for the couple or gifts??
More often guests bring money.
